| 2012/12/2 - ZZGvBzelhBISSt I shoot both primes and zooms, motlsy zooms are really good now a days. My real surprise is that you only selected Canon lenses. Was that because they just won the battles? Or just didn't consider other vendors?I motlsy agree with your selections, as I have versions of several of those range lenses. My 70-200 is the f4 variety, and my 50mm f1.4 is Sigma (which I think is slightly better than the Canon). My 18-50 f2.8 Sigma EX sits in as a cheaper stand in for the 17-55 (the Canon is better, but more than twice the price).There is something very attractive about primes though, and those lovely wide apertures. |
